Cameraman. Editor .
I have been working in the television and video production industry for over twenty five years.
During the early years of my career I worked for many British and International broadcast news companies and media production companies including, BBC, ITV News, Channel 4 News, Pro 7 and SAT 1 as a freelance cameraman and sound recordist. In 2000 I signed a full time contract with ITV News and have been an International cameraman and editor for their national news programme until I moved full time to Germany in 2021.

Alex worked for ITN from 2000. He was here for 21 years in total working in different capacities across newsrooms.
He was based in Islamabad with Ch 5, and through the course of his career has covered big stories such as the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2000, the Israeli siege of Beirut in 2006, Chandler family release from pirates in Nairobi and an Afghanistan deployment in 2009.
He was a valued member of our crew department and covered many pool UK Prime minister trips to the Middle East and did stints covering the ITV News Washington bureau.
He was a craft camera and editor and an excellent multi-skiller. For the last 8 years he operated as an overnight camera and brought into play his skills as a video journalist in this role.
I would thoroughly recommend Alex as a multi skilled camera operator / editor.
